It's really not that hard to call someone the pronouns they want, whether you like it or not. In fact, you do it all the time with other people. This includes calling the guitarist from U2 "The Edge" and calling Dwayne Johnson "The Rock". We already do stuff like this, so why not just apply it to everyday people, whether it offends you or not. Also, misgendering people on purpose is boomer humor at this point.
