Did the Grateful Dead Members Dislike JRAD?

Do you think JRAD is making the Grateful Dead music their own?

Tom Hamilton talks about running into Grateful Dead members after covering their music and making a lot of money off of it. He said they have been very supportive because JRAD is doing their own thing with the music. That doesn't mean Tom wasn't scared he was gonna get in trouble for a little bit.
